How settling in works with us
-
First stepGet to know – relaxed and at your pace
We usually start with a roughly three-hour get-to-know session (9:00 – 12:00).
During this time your dog can:
- explore our surroundings at their own pace
- make first contacts in the right group
- build trust in us and the new routine
We accompany attentively and calmly – without pressure, with sensitivity.
Depending on temperament or previous experience, settling in can also start straight away with a full day. We’ll be happy to decide together what suits your dog best. -
Second stepA full day to get familiar
Next, your dog spends a full day with us.
They experience the full daily routine with play, exercise, shared time and midday rest. That builds familiarity – with the surroundings, the other dogs and us.
-
After thatReady for any stay
After the get-to-know and first full day, your dog knows us, the routine and the other dogs. Then nothing stands in the way of a stay – whether a few days or longer. Many of our guests return because they felt at ease from the first moment. We look forward to meeting you and your dog and taking the first step together.
What to bring for settling in
For the settling-in visit, please bring your dog’s vaccination record and the PDF form you have filled in beforehand.
Your dog is also very welcome to bring their usual sleeping place or a blanket from home. Familiar scents help many dogs to orient themselves more quickly and feel safe during gentle settling in.
